Trying to relax during ectopic pregnancy.

I had two injections of methotrexate exactly one week ago. I had not experienced any symptoms until yesterday and went to the ER for extreme lower abdominal pain (more so the left side where the ectopic is) and awful pressure on my rectum (sorry, a little TMI). But, my vitals are good & my HCG level went from 1,300 too around 800 (estimating). I just can't seem to relax, being that I have a precious two year old daughter who I love dearly and I'm afraid of a possible rupture. Being that I couldn't save this baby... Can anyone relate, I don't mind stories being shared (it's better than google).

XO.

Good luck mama. Try to stay positive because your levels are actually going down with the injections. I actually had rupture and had to get one of my tubes removed. So, in my eyes you are doing great. Hang in there.

Do you have any friends or family which could come and be with you at this time?  I am so sorry.  I have never been through this before, but I send you lots of  ((((hugs)))).  I hope more mommas are able to help.

*hug* I had an ectopic pregnancy in July, DS was six months old. My tube ruptured so I did not have the shot. I had to have surgery. I only have one tube. We found out in November, that we are pregnant again! : ) I just wanted to let you know, it is possible. My heart is hurting for you. If you feel any pain in your shoulder or any more pressure, please go tot the ER. I was in extreme pain and thought I had to have a bowel movement. I even sent DH to the store for prune juice. When that did not work and I had a movement with no relief, I knew there was a problem and I went to the ER. I didn't even know I was pregnant, because I had what I thought was my full period. Looking back, it was my body rejecting the pregnancy. The best thing I did was join an ectopic pregnancy group on babycenter.com. The women there are very supportive and amazing. A lot of them had the shot and will be able to talk with you more about that aspect. *hug*
