Is it safe? I don't see why it wouldn't be... but just asking.

Ginger ale helped me a little. Really though the best thing for me was to suck on mints or lemon heads.

Lemon heads are a good idea! Mint causes indigestion, though. Which sucks, because I love mint. Drinking warm lemonade helps me when I'm sick... maybe it'll help. Thanks!

Peppermint and ginger (tea-candy-whatever form, but not artificial) are very commonly used for tummy upset.

Just make sure there is REAL ginger in it. The ginger ales I found in big chain markets didn't have any ginger in them at all! I got mine and Trader Joe's and health food stores.

Gingersnap cookies were my lifesaver for the few weeks when my morning sickness was really bad.

Mint is commonly used to soothe stomachs, not cause indigestion. :) When I was pregnant, sipping peppermint tea helped my nausea and heartburn.
