TCA Peel unsafe for face during pregnancy?

Hi all, I bought a TCA peel and I was curious as to when I should begin applying the healing cream so I looked on google and I came upon a website that says Tca isn't safe to use while pregnant due to unknown affects, etc. =( I was really looking forward to the peel and it's the weakest form of it. Called: Pumpkin 10% TCA & 20% Glycolic Face Mask Chemical Peel. I was looking forward to using it asap but now that I saw that on a website I'm hesitant and I wanted to know if anyone else has gotten one done while pregnant? I'm 21 weeks and 4 days. I don't intend on using it on my stretch marked belly and it's just my face. Will it reach baby? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not really sure- I'd probably just stay away from it just in case.  :(

I used to be a skin care specialist w/ leading brands and I wouldn't. A lot of peels have salicylic acid in it and other exfoliaters that haven't been tested on pregnant humans. salicylic acid is an asprin derivative. Asprin is a blood thinner. I'm breaking out like crazy on my chest and back (hormones!!) and just exfoliating daily with a sea sponge. I recommend a sugar or salt scrub exfoliater;) I use Philosophy daily.

I think the point is that it's "not safe" because people don't know what it will do...

Yes, but best to be safe than sorry. :)
