have you ever mistaken a "period" for early pregnancy bleeding

Oh I have!  I was like, "Phew!  My period started...all is well!"  Then, I even took a pregnancy test and it was negative.  So, I really assumed I wasn't pregnant.  I ended up buying a pregnancy test in December.  I found out I was pregnant with my fourth baby, which is due July 30th, in the toilet of Walmart.  Glamorous, huh?

I started bleeding around november 15th, and it stopped after one day.  Then, I started bleeding again around Thanksgiving, and that went on for like a few days.  Then, I found out I was pregnant around Dec. 9th I believe.  By then, I was like, 6 weeks pregnant.  I took a pregnancy test the day after Thanksgiving, and it was negative.  I think I took it wrong though.  I kind of just knew I was pregnant.  Anyway, it's not unusual to have bleeding, and false negatives are not uncommon either.  And, sometimes we just have lower hormone levels to start with.

Yeah with my first dd I thought I started but only lasted a few hours so I took a test.

When bleeding while pregnant, can it be heavy?? I know they say to watch out for how much you bleed.. How much is to much?

I took a test yesterday was positive and now I'm spoting . Just went I wipe I'm praying everything ok my mom and husband and sister. So happy.

huh?  Admittedly, I thought that the test was faulty, but that hardly EVER happens.  And, well obviously now I know it wasn't, lol!  :)  I don't think I would have tried to return it though.  Well, unless the control window didn't show a line...
