i am pregnant i just found out on the 23rd how do i tell my parents.
I waited until after my first trimester. So, when Christmas came around my SO and I tried to hide the bump the best we could until then. I had cards for everyone to open. The cards had basically "New Addition coming soon", and showed the Bump to everyone after that. My brother screamed like a girl (LOL), my dad was in shock and excited, and my sister-in-law was jumping up and down saying she knew something was going on with me. It was fun trying to hide the bump, because it was getting big enough that I had to wear big baggy sweaters, jackets and so on. It was a great Christmas gift for everyone.
I worked at an emboriery shop and a lot of people brought in plain onsies or bibs to have embordered something cute. Usually at little stork and then, give them as a gift for the a family even coming up or when you have a brunch with them.
i made a card the sid guess what? then on the in side we are having a baby.
My FAVORITE way is to have everyone together at a restaurant and have the waitress take a picture...but instead of saying "Say cheese!" You say, "Say WE'RE PREGNANT!" And then you get everyone's first reactions to the news in a picture!! Definitely fun to put in a baby book! But you do need to tell the waitress ahead of time to make sure she still takes the pic at the right time! lol
We didn't tell anyone until I found out the sex at 22 weeks. I was hardly showing, and with the cold weather and bulky clothes no one knew. So for my birthday I made my own cake and wrote "I'm growing a penis" on it. They just thought it was a joke, my mom was offended. But affter some serious hinting, to the point of flat out saying it, they finally got that we were having a boy. It was pretty funny
