Is this what braxton hicks feels like?

I thought I was feeling them before but this pain has made me wonder.

I was eating some food and out of nowhere I felt like pain above my belly button and around there. It hurt pretty bad! Felt like tight pulling stabbing. I felt my baby moving though when I laid back and the pain seem to have gone away now but my stomach feels a bitense.

Is this braxton hicks or something else?

I had that yesterday my midwife said it is ligament pain. Sharp pain for about 2 minutes and discomfort for an hour then it was just gone.

could have been pressure from the baby! My baby will push against me sometimes which causes pressure then it gets released, which is her relaxing and giving me a break lol. BH are more like a progressive pain...at least for me. It feels like sudden severe trapped gas pain which slowly releases then comes back, then releases again...etc They last about 10 minutes for me.

That sounds to me like baby is pushing on something and causing the pain. I had something similar that lasted and was really intense during my last pregnancy. I never did figure out what it was. Pretty sure my baby was just laying funny. It for sure wasn't braxton hicks or anything though.

Yeah might have been him moving against something. I am fine now though so guess it was not bad.
