I am finally having a baby after TTC for 3 1/2 years and having 4 miscarriages.
our names we picked have ALOT of meaning to us
Boy : Robert-Alexeis Giovanni Espinosa
Robert is my dad's name, he was a police officer who was killed in the line of duty when i was 13. Alexeis is my fiance's name so we decided to use both my dad's name and my honey's name. Giovanni is his middle name because our 4 years old autistic son picked it "Gio" like the show team oomi zoomi lol.
if it's a girl her name is: Havana-Olivia Pyper Espinosa.
Havana being the city my fiance is from [cuba] olivia bc we love it and pyper is my mom's maiden last name
ANd her initials spell out HOPE.
One of my facebook friends had the balls to say "those names are stupid" went on to say my daughter's name is a "hoodrat" name...umm my name is FrancescaMarie...beyond italian i'm certainly not a "hoodrat" whatever that's supposed to friggin mean LOL.
the fact she disrespected my child's names is so rude.
I get looks when I say the names but I don't care because of the beautiful meaning behind them.
Wow I would not consider them much of a friend than. My mother in law told me that the name I picked out for my son was ugly and sounded stupid. I am sorry your friend is so blunt and rude like that. If it helps I don't think it is a "hood rat" name or an "ugly" name. You can either let the comment roll off you and say fuck em. or you can let them know how rude they were and make them feel like an ass
Don't you think its funny how people in general teach the good ole rule of "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all" to their children.YET they completely forget it when it comes to their selves. Tell her its your baby , your choice and you dont appreciate her rudeness.
