I have a very loving and devoted husband. He wants to go to appts and anything else he can be involved with; including a newbee class we attended last night. We are 6wk ish, married 7 months, together 3yr.
He works construction of sorts and will more than likely be 3 states west july to at least oct.; I try to make him feel better telling him it is common for the men to NOT go to appt. But was curious if I am making things up.
FYI; I have a huge support system and though I would love for him to be there at everyone it is not the end of the world.
Is yours going? or Planning on going?
My
22 week one and had to undress bc I think I have a yeast infection. Plus I was told I'm a fatty. Lol.
I don't care if he goes or not. My other 2 dd's,bd was a jerk but went to some. I was very emotional w those pregnancies. Prob. Bc I was not happy.
He wants to and will be going to all of my appointments I love that man!
He had to work. In our family that's his way of being supportive. He works hard to support us financially.
He was there for the important things, my ultrasound where I was 2 weeks over due and they had to check fluid levels and when she was born.
Him sitting in a waiting room with me when I had a perfectly normal pregnancy would have been a waste of time!
I'm 37 weeks, the only appts hubby has gone to has been my first US (after 2 miscarriages, I needed the emotional support!) and the gender reveal ultrasound. He has missed all other appts/USs due to his job. It's not a big deal, of course it'd be great if he were there...but it's important he keeps his job so we can afford this baby!! Congrats btw!
DH is unable to make it to my appointments, because of his job. But, he is amazing and supportive! He was even willing to help me have an unassisted home birth when I was seriously considering it! (Maybe next birth!) He is just terrific! He'll be catching this one! : )
