Is DH going to your appts?

I have a very loving and devoted husband. He wants to go to appts and anything else he can be involved with; including a newbee class we attended last night. We are 6wk ish, married 7 months, together 3yr.

He works construction of sorts and will more than likely be 3 states west july to at least oct.; I try to make him feel better telling him it is common for the men to NOT go to appt. But was curious if I am making things up.

FYI; I have a huge support system and though I would love for him to be there at everyone it is not the end of the world.

Is yours going? or Planning on going?

due to my husbands demanding schedule he only goes to ultrasound appointments. my other regular appointments are so short n sweet theres realy no need for him to miss work for it. all i have to do is get weighed, check b/p, pee in a cup, listen to babies h/b, and get necessary labs done. i do call him as soon as im done to give him the updates though.

My husband has to be there, I don't drive and my Dr is a half hour away from where we live. He loves being there for everything. And since my appointments are always on Saturdays, it doesn't inconvience him. For ultrasounds and such, he will just schedule his meetings at the office around it.

He has been to everyone he can. He is saving time off to stay home with us for a month after baby is born.  He went to my first app, my first ultrasound, and will be at more.  IF he can't go, I take my son.  My son is 6 years old.

Mine would live to go but it just so happens that he works to late to be able to go. He left early for my first apt and he will leave ealry for my 20wk ultrasound since he missed the first one at work. It upsets him he cant be there but I understand. My mom and I are really close so she goes when husband cants. I also have a freind who is pregant to who will go with em as well as my mother in law. He is also saving all his vaction so he can stay home with us after baby is born and get us settled. He could probably leave early for every apt of mine bcause his boss understands but i tell him no so he wont take a risk of getiing fired.

This is my 4th pregnancy and and DH has been to 2 appts. total.  He goes to 1 ultrasound per child.

I would think that most fathers work wouldn't have the flexibility for them to be able to go to appts.

My husband would give anything to be here and go to the appointments with me. He is in the Army and won't be back home till August. 2 weeks before the baby is due. I just hope he will be here for the birth.
