Went to Dr. today and was informed after a pelvic exam and ultrasound that my baby had stopped developing and had no heartbeat. They gave me antibiotics and some medicine to cause contraction of the uterus and expel everything...they then sent me home and told me to wait. If the meds dont work in 2-3 wks I have to have a D&C. Anybody ever had this kind of procedure? I cant believe I am waitin on the medically induced miscarriage of my dead child...unheard of! :,(

I had this same thing happen to me at 15 weeks gestation. We went in to possibly find out gender and there was no heartbeat. I had to have a D&C. It was a very horrible experience....before i could even swallow the news...I was having surgery. :( I'm so sorry to you! I know exactly how you're feeling.
