I will be 38 weeks pregnant on Friday. I got checked today at the doctor. Now I'm spotting (brown color). How long does it usually last? I'm not really worried at this point just curious on others experiences with this. I have never had it happen with my other pregnancies..

I don't get checked at all in my pregnancies but it shouldn't continue much longer, brown is good.
Did you get stripped?
Are you planning to have more exams?

No actually I'm hopin labor will start by the 11th which is when we want him to be here. I have to have a c-section, so only if labor starts will they allow me to have him at 38 weeks and 5 days otherwise I have to wait.. :( I'm soo uncomfortable and in a lot of pain at this point, and just want to be done. I keep sayin the 11th is just it and my lil body just can't take it any longer.. idk. They said I was 1cm dilated, cervix still thick but soft. So I'm hopin it will be soon. I have just never had spotting before. And its lasted for 12 hours now. So was wondering if it could last longer from being checked or if maybe it helped things along.. Just want to be prepared in case it just keeps up also. Like I said, I'm not worried at this point just wanting opinions..

Are you working to get help to become more comfy?     Adding the unnecessary risks can make things worse--    you can avoid those.
Do you have help?

I have my husband here to help, but he had back surgery almost a week ago, so even tho he bitches at me, I'm doin a lot more at this point. I'm still spotting tho, and it's not a lot but not just a few spots either. Idk what to think at this point.
