Do you love the idea of a security blanket for your little one or would you wish you would have left it at the store?  Do you have one with this baby?

1st one got one at the shower. He loved it. We got 2 more. Constant friend for 2 years. He liked the satin edge. didn't matter if they matched or not, just had to have the edge. If this one likes them will get a few more. I know 1 or 2 of the old ones are still around in a box in the closet.

My kids had one, but never used them.  They don't really get attached to material objects.

Only one of mine has so far. He loved the satin edging. He loved rubbing it between his fingers more than anything else, lol.

I thought it was cute with my sister when we were kids and she would drag her raggity old blanket with her everywhere, but if this one gets too attached to a blanket, I think it would drive me insane!!

2 moms liked this

I hate them and hate the concept. Each to there own. My daugther doesn't use one and I don't plan on exposing my son to the concept either.

My son got attached to fleece blankets, it was a calming thing for him. I finally took them away at 3 (he was fine). He never was the type to have it with him out side the house though. He just liked it when he was relaxing at home, or in bed.
