I skipped it - I actually skipped ALL tests and only did things if I showed signs of the symptoms and needed to be proactive... otherwise, why plan or prepare for something that doesn't exist. Not to mention that you can give false readings just due in part to the increase in hormonal changes and the placenta can attest to false readings as well.
I skipped my glucose test the second pregnancy and just took my blood sugar three times a day for a week instead. It was much more accurate, and I did in fact have GD the second time according to those numbers, so I kept checking the levels.
I have never taken it during my pregnancies. Depends more on what sort of a care provider you hire maybe.
Routine testing for all doesn't generally improve outcomes~~
As much I would love to do the same, I have insulin resistance and PCOS, so it's probably important that I take the test.
