I'm pushing 14wks pregnant and am wondering when I should start gaining weight? My first visit was at 7wk 2days. By my second visit two weeks later I had lost 2 lbs. Yesterday at my 3rd doctors appt I had only gain 1lb back. So I'm stil 1lb under my prepregnancy weight. I eat like a horse and my baby is obviously growing (attaching yesterdays US pic). My pants are feeling a bit snugger in the tummer but no actual weight gain....when should I start packing on the pounds?!
And sorry I post so many questions! I'm new to all this and really have no one else to ask.
I always mean to ask my doctor but I have so much more going on in my head than these random questions. I can understand the 2lbs loss in the beginning because I could only keep down about 1/2 of what I ate but I havent been getting sick much at all lately. I think I eat enough for two adults but still havent gained lol.
It will all probably catch up with me lol

My doc says its fine bc I haven't gained any weight then lost a couple pounds. She said it was due to lack of eating but I also eat like a horse! lol
I'm now back down to only 6 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight, which is right on track.
Good luck and don't stress. It will all work out in the end.
It's ok if you never start to pack on the pounds. Just eat healthy and stay fit. Depending on your pre-pregnancy weight, you should gain 15 to 30 pounds total. You really shouldn't gain much until after 20 weeks or so. That's when the baby starts putting on weight and such.
