I am planning on a Sip & See for late summer. To have those who want come meet our baby and new apartment. Have anyone done one? Is there any guidelines? Or is it more of a regular get together but just to show of LO?

A sip & see is like a baby shower but after baby is born. Ppl go to your house and see the baby while sipping on something...some ppl do champagne to celebrate baby's arrival. It is normally done for babies that didn't get a shower, had some sort of issue with hospital visits or when you have a large family or circle of friends and not everyone has seen the baby.
My situation is the last one. We are going for a open house sip and see on august. I will pour a glass of wine upon arrival but other than that haven't decide on invitations, menu or decor.
