Have you ever had your car seat checked by a certified child passenger safety tech?

Nope. We read the manual and had a car seat tech teach us how to install car seats before my first was born.

No only because I'm confident in my install. If I had trouble with the install, I'd find a tech (not the police or fire station)

Yeah they and the police station aren't reliable ;)

I had the local fire department install my car seats before my daughter was born. I had them move my sons to the other side. Anyways they did it COMPLETELY WRONG!!! The seats were very loose and not secure at all. When I asked them about it they said that's how it was supposed to be! I had to redo them myself when I was 9 months pregnant and could barely fit in the back seat. I was pissed.
