Babies Kidney tubes are dilated, Can anyone relate?!!

 Yeah the tubes were dilated at last they said it was 10 needs to be 8. How far was your child dilated? Did they need to put in stents and all that or they just watch it then?

I have never had to go through this, so here is a bump.  I hope all is ok!

I haven't gone through this exactly, but my 17 month old had cysts on her left kidney. They found it when I was pregnant. She just had surgery in September to remove the top half of her left kidney...she is doing well!

My daughters was, we found out later after she was born that she has beckwith- wiedemann syndrome. Look it up, you might want to ask a perinatal about that, there are other ways to screen for it. My daughter is thriving but has been through a lot but not due to the dilated tubes. 

wow thanks for the info I'll bring it up next time I'm in as well. That last specialist said it didn't seem to be major and it should correct itself. Howeveri changed specialits because lol twhen i did go in he didn't even take a ultra sound of the kidney which was the reason i was there to see how the kidney was. Glade your daughters thriving.. Life isn't easy but it makes it that more worth it, on what you have to put into it. Someone else always has a different story that's when you're thankful for yours. :)
