cleft lip??

So im staring at my lil Leafs 4d ultrasound (her name is Autumn, nickname lil Leaf. Her kicks and movement felt like a leaf fluttering in the wind...corny i know) and noticed that her bottom lip looks cut in half. The ultrasound tech and doctor didnt say anything about it. They said everything looks great. Maybe im too paranoid. Anyone else see it? What do you think?? Definitely going to show my doctor.

There is so much fluid and shadowing in those ultrasounds. An untrained eye would panic at a lot of these images. If there was cause for concern, they would've seen in in the 2d images and other 3d images.

My sons ultrasound was similar plus I had been taking medication known to cause cleft lips so I was worried, but he came out beautifully. I'm sure you lo is fine!

My dad had cleft pallet and it was the top lip attached to his nose. I've never seen it on the bottom before

Oh ok. O just figured since 4d is more detailed that it showed what the 2d cannot

Cleft lips are on the top.  But it's understandable that you'd worry!  =)

This. I have a 3D pic of my oldest, and he has a lip 'snare' look, which also looks like a cleft lip. However it was just how he had his lips and no cleft at all.
