I just had my daughter on Tuesday. we came home last night and since then she had been feed at 10pm, 430am, 9am,3pm. She only takes about 1 Oz at a time. shouldn't she be eating more? I try to wake her every3-4 hrs but she don't want it. I know baby wool tell youwhen baby is hungry but I don't want get getting dehydrated if she doesn't eat. She I'd also 7lbs8oz.

My son slept through the night from birth. The nurse mad me wake him up to feed. When I got home I did this a few days but after talking to my grandma I let him sleep. He is 6 yrs old and happy, healthy and hydrated now

My sister slept at least 8 hours straight from birth. She is now healthy and 30+ years old.
The best way to tell is to count diapers. I'm not sure how many a newborn should be going through. Maybe you can find it on-line. Most suggest to set out a certain amount in the morning. Good luck!!
