Good morning mommies! Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!  Yesterday I had started bleeding ( I had a trans vag ultra sound on tues night but I don't think it causes this). I am 9 weeks post c section.  It must be my period because I also have some clots coming out when I go bathroom. Well last night it got heavy during the night, I had to change my pad, undies and pajama pants. I just had to change the new pants and undies and pad about 3 hours later. I'm going to check my pad again in an hour to see if it is full. Is it normal for the bleeding to be this heavy? I'm a little scared. Before I gave birth, my period on day 2 was heavy, but it took a few hours to soak/ fill a pad. I have some cramping with this bleeding now and feel like crap (stomach ache and just blah) . Hope it isn't hemmoraging. I'm nervous. Any of you have a heavy first period after giving birth?? and if so did it last many days? i dont want to be bleeding this heavy for long, and I don't know if I should bother my ob, since I was just there this week for another issue. . Glad my multivitamin has iron in it at least! Please help!!

9 weeks post op your still healing from the inside out. C-sections are serious stuff and I bled consistently for that time period. It wasn't a period, it was just the healing process. It sounds like your bleeding too hard and I would call your OB. That was a sign that he told me to call about. Or it could be your period too. I BF and usually go like 6 months after without a period. I hope you feel better but I would call the DR if it was me;)
