How long were you in labor for with your first baby before you had baby in your arm ?
EDIT: Do you think genetics had something to do with it? Did your mom have the same time as you her first?

I labored for 12 hours with my twins before I ended up having a c section due to pre e getting to severe.

About 24 hrs for all of min (4), transitions decreased by about an hour with each.

My mom has 6 (one set of twins), all vaginal. With all labors combined, only about 20 hours total. So yes, I'm thinking its genetic. Lucky me. :)
