I am 35wks pregnant and lately here and there I feel vaginal discomfort. It feels as if I'm sore and just had intercourse when I haven't. I'm wondering as to if this is due to the baby just dropping getting ready for labor??

I read something saying what the signs that labor was near and one was like pressure in ur pelvic area that the baby was dropping lower but I didn't know if that fell under that. I don't remember having this with my DD

I felt like that my whole last pregnancy. I think it's because of all the extra blood flow, thus swelling.

Swelling, it's all normal. Plus baby is getting bigger, thus putting pressure on your pelvic floor.

I asked my doctot yesterday if he thought my my baby had dropped because I have the same issue. It feels like the head is way low....but he said I hadn't dropped. He said it's likely to be just gravity. When ya walk the baby does go really low...almost making you have to waddle. Good luck!!!

It feels like pressure and sharp twinges of pain, right? That's from baby putting pressure on your cervix. :)
