So I dont know what made me think about this but here goes, you have mom dad aunt uncle, then grandmother and grandfather but then its great aunt great uncle, but then your parents grandparents are your great grandparents, so why isnt it your aunt and uncle are not your kids grand aunt and granduncle? am i weird for having this thought lol it was totally random lol

i havent even thats why its weird to me that that thought just randomly crossed my mind while sitting at work lol

My kids have 'grand uncles and a grand aunt that is the same age or younger than DH and I. LOL

idk -- why don't cousins have gender-specific "names"? ;) Like, we have aunt, uncle, mom, dad, sister, brother .... cousin. LOL
