Did you and your SO have to try for a long time, or did you get pregnant really quickly?
Did anything you do (or take) help you conceive faster?
A month after we stopped using protection. No, just did it the old fashion way.
I got pregnant a year and a half after I got off the pill. It took a year for my body to get back onto it's natural cycle, then for 6-months we stayed baby-free using the calendar method... and then one night, even though we knew it was an off day, we couldn't keep our hands off of eachother, and that little bugger stuck!
Guess I should say how fast it happened for me, since I started this post! I tried to conceive in my 20's and never got pregnant. I don't know if that was because I'd been on the depo provera shot for a long time, or if I simply was unlucky.
Fast forward to now (about 20 years) and I started trying in July and was pregnant by mid August. I was surprised to get pregnant so quickly, partly because I am older, and mostly because I heard it could take a while. I feel very blessed! :)
1st I was on the pill but it ended in miscarriage at 5 weeks.
2nd 2.5 weeks
3rd one time
4th two months of trying but we knew the first month we did not hit the right time.
5th got pregnant while we were using a condom
6th we tried for two months. Again we knew we did not hit the right time. So it did not surprise us.
We did nothing special. Just had lots of fun.
We concieved our 1st within a month and a half of not preventing
We concieved our 2nd within 1 month of not preventing.
I just had my mirena removed November 2nd and will officially be trying next month.
But we havent been preventing... Im currently on my 2nd cycle since having it removed
