Blue line tests aren't the greatest right? Because false positives? Or false negatives?

Right, they are known to be faulty. Pink dye tests are the ones recommended.

I had never heard of the blue test problems until about a year ago on cafemom. I've never had an issue with them and the only time I've had a dodgy result was with a pink dye test; the test line was very narrow so I figured the test was just faulty. It probably was actually positive, I figured from my ultrasound that I would have been about 3.5 weeks when I took it, but my blue tests have always been 100% clear.

Blue line tests are more likely to have evap lines than pink line tests.

Ok, what about having a line right away that disappears after a bit?

I've never had that happen before.

Because of false positives. A lof of them will show a faint line no matter what. My favorite test is First Response Early Results.

I've seen a positive result with male urine on a blue dye. They just kind of have a line there.
