Pack your bags!

Hey ladies, this is my first baby. I'm already dilated 3 centimeters and was told to pack my bag. Now here's my problem, I don't have any idea what to pack!  I have no girlfriends that have had babies and my mom keeps sayin it's been 20 years since she gave birth to me and doesn't remember hardly anything.

Comfortable clothes to go home in. An outfit for baby. Sports bra or nursing bra. Socks and underwear. Shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush(if your hospital doesn't supply them). Outfit for baby for pictures and to go home in. Baby blanket. Get your car seat in the car.

My hospital supplies everything. Blankets, diapers, wipes, pacifiers, pads for me so I'm a very light packer.

I take clothes for me and baby- I'm weird about baby wearing hospital clothes. Toiletries. Phone charger. Camera. Computer? Make up. Hair elastics.

Take the biggest, comfiest, underwear you have. You lady bits are going to be sore so you will really need these.
Also if you plan to breast feed I would bring a boppy pillow. They are really helpful when you get started.

The last time I had a hospital birth was around 5 years ago, but I just made sure to pack the baby some clothes, me some comfy clothes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deoderant, razor, toothbrush and toothpaste, and some snacks.
