Flea in my baby's eye!

I was laying my 6 week old son down for his nap and noticed a flea on his eyelid. I tried to get it ofoff but it crawled into his eye! I tried to open his eye to try to get it out. I can't even see it in there now. I'm completely freaking out. He doesn't seem bothered by it but I'm scared it may cause damage. What do I do?!

Are you sure it was a flea? I'd take him in for sure!

It might have jumped off. They dont prefer wet spots.

This.  I haven't seen them "crawl" much if someone's trying to get them off.  They tend to jump.

If you bf put some of your milk in his eye to flush it..when my dd was was around that age she had a eyelash that was bugging her so I put some breast milk in her eye and it came out

Id flush it with bf milk, thats a great suggestion. And i would call pedi. And maybe also someone to help take care of the fleas.

I dont see the big deal here natural tear production will remove substances from the human eye if your realllyyy worried take some water in a dropper and flush the eye

Side note:  see if it's possible to put flea stuff on the dogs/cats/etc.  then maybe bomb the house (and leave, obviously).

If a bug went into an eye, it will die quickly. It's wet in there. Also, the eye will tear and flush out the foreign object.  Human body.... Wonder of nature :)
