im 5'1 and now 23 weeks pregnant. pre pregnancy i was on the "bigger" side at 140 (well 150 at the time of getting pregnant thanks to bronchitis meds and visiting great grandma)

when i did get pregnant i lost 10 lbs just from lack of appetite. I have yet to get fully back to 150, in fact I'm at 146 right now. I was 149 at my last appointment, but lost weight again. My belly is huge and at my anatomy scan little miss looked great.Shes moving non stop too.

Should i be concerned? I mean in a way im glad i can still fit in pre-pregnancy jeans because she's sitting so high, but i feel like im missing out in a way

Nope.  It's perfeclty normal to lose weight (or not gain) if you have extra weight to begin with.

When i was pregnant with my first i lost 50 pounds during my pregnancy i was in the 220 range amd my dr was like are you eating and i said every chance i get. My daugter was happy and healthy through the entire pregnancy. Oh and after i had her i lost more weigjt amd tje i blew up like a balloon because of pcos. So i wouldnt be concerned. We all have diff hormones some women gain weight some maintain and some loose.

I think I'm most nervous because with my oldest I gained 30 (started at 110 mind you) and he was born at 5.7 lbs at 39 weeks. I don't want another low birth weight baby :(

I don't think its anything to be concerned about right now, just watch it. With my first pregnancy I lost weigh before I started gaining. Then before it was all said and done I had gained 60 pounds! I'm 32 weeks with my 2nd and I've only gained 10 pounds, my husband on the other hand has gained 30 lol

As long as baby's gaining well and on track I wouldn't worry about it. When you're at the higher weight end/over weight it's not much a concern because the baby is most likely gaining weight even if you're losing.

I've never lost weight during pregnancy, so I have no advice. Sorry.

When I got pregnant, I weighed 220 (yes, I'm a cow). I've gained 19 pounds so far and I'm 27w3d. I was so excited at one appointment because I hadn't gained anything and I felt like I had. The next month I made up for it, though. I gained 7 pounds in 4 weeks. =\

I would not be concerned. You gain most of your weight at the end of your pregnancy, not really the first part. And everyone needs to gain different amounts to be healthy. bigger girls need to gain less, tiny girls need to gain more.

yea i understand your concerns...if its something thats stressing you you should definatly mention it to your obgyn on your next appt.
