New, with a question to ask... Might be tmi... ***update***
I'm a little worried about something... I have sharp pains "down there" several times every day... Has anyone had this during pregnancy and had it be normal and nothing be wrong?
I ask because this isn't my first pregnancy. With my last one, I had twins and I went into labor super early and lost them. I remember having these same pains then and then found out I had miscarried one and was going into labor, at 20 weeks.
I brought it up to my OB, and without checking he said that it could be normal, but I'm seriously worried that something is wrong! I am scheduling another appointment as soon as I get up tomorrow.
***UPDATE 12/28***
I went in and saw a maternal fetal medicine specialist. I'm pretty irritated now! They measured my cervix cause I was concerned, and as it turns out I was right... My cervix has begun thinning, and my bag of waters is funneling towards the cervix and putting pressure on it. So I'm scheduled to go in for surgery in two weeks for a cerclage and I am on partial bedrest until then. It's not the strict kind, but I have to take it way easy. I'm pretty pissed cause my normal ob didn't check anything and told me it was Normal.
I had that throughout all my pregnancies and it was normal ;-D I am so sorry for your loss!!!! ;-(

That would bother me as well... I have a 5 year old and I had him with him and gave birth at 38 weeks, than I have a 3 year old gave birth at 38 weeks and a 1 year old gave birth at 38 weeks as well... Im pregnant again and I dont have them... Only because I just found out im pregnant so I am like 3-4 weeks lol

Thanks! I have a 4 yr old too? But I can't remember feeling it with her. I only remember feeling it when I lost the twins. I think that's what bothers me, plus it happens more when I'm on my feet for long periods of time.

Btw, I'm sorry for your losses :(
Not bleeding its "normal" but hell, what exactly is normal anyway?

I get that all of the time and I'm told it's normal. I know it would scare me too if I had a loss before though. I'd probably ask them to do the FF test and check my cervix. I'm sure things are fine but just to ease your mind.

Thanks. I'm going back in and making him ultrasound my cervix. I know they can cause they did it almost daily with the twins. He says if I'm

Yea, they definitely can and they can see if it's open or getting shorter. It is typical of pregnancy but if it's something you felt before and it turned out not normal than I'd be like you and want evidence that things are fine! Good luck mama!

Thanks! It's good to know someone else would feel the same way.... I was beginning to feel like a hypochondriac!
