electric breast pump advice

I pumped with my now 5 year old daughter with a Medela pump. I turned it on the other day and it was just dead :( So, now I am on the hunt for a new pump. I know Medela's are still out there. Any advice on any other possible good quality electric (double) pump? Has anyone had any luck with Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Double Electric Breast Pump System? All advice is grateful :)

I got a Medela and it's been great. I tried a cheap one and it sucked.

I have no idea what was wrong with it. So, it got pitched.

I tried a cheapy also that my aunt bought me and it hurt sooo bad trying to use it. Was horrible.

Can you rent one from the hospital?

I have a Medela pump that I got in 2009 and it still works well - but I also don't pump very often.

I tried the medela hospital one and it hurt me, i ended up loving a simple manual pump (philips isis, not sure if its still being made). i only pumped on the hours when i was away from the baby so not full time pumping with that one
