Baby gate that isn't too hard to open?

I'm looking for the door-style baby gates. I have one, but it requires you pushing using your forefinger and thumb on either side of the latch then pressing down hard with your hand to open. It can be super hard for adults and I think really frustrating for my four-year-old.

I want to put up gates to keep dog away from baby and baby out of dangerous places, but I want my four-year-old to be able to move about the house.

For instance, I plan to have a gate in the bathroom doorway but want my DD to be able to get in at will!

Are there gate that a child's hands can open?

I don't know, gates are meant to keep kids out lol. I have a gate blocking my kitchen bc the kids arent allowed in there alone. I closed bathroom door and put a handle cover over it (sold for a few bucks at walmart), my son was able to open it but dd wasn't. I had the cheapy wood one and my dd learned to open it around 18 months.

I don't know, but the answer is probably a no. They're designed to keep kids 5 and under out of certain areas.
