Did walking bring on your labor? and long soon did you start going for walks?
I'm newly pregnant and will be walking a few times a week. The more you walk during pregnancy, the more your pelvis will open during labor.
Oh, and this is my third baby. Walking didn't really help start labor but it helped keep things going while I was in labor.
Walking will not bring on labor. It can help with keeping contractions going, if labor has already started, though.
I walked everyday of my pregnancy and I absolutely think that it helped my labor
I also think it helped keep me from gaining a bunch of weight
I was able to work up until the day before my labor and my labor went pretty quick
I walked about a half mile sometimes more each day
It is not like an "inducer" but can help in several ways if labor has already started.
:-)
Are you in labor?
Nope, but I didn't try it very long. Mostly just did it to burn off steam, help bring baby down, and stay fit.

I tried walking with my other two and they were both past their due date. Nothing helped until they were ready to come. Lol! But I do walk my entire labor and it definitely helps that way. :-)
