how do you tell the difference between cramping and a reason to call the doctor? I am 9weeks 3 days and off and on today I have been having pain on the right side of stomach below the belly button. Anyone have any ideas, I think I am going to call the doctor.

Actually you shouldn't be cramping if you're preggers. That is a reason to call the doc. Especially since you're still early on and I think its too early to have BH contractions. So...call your doctor. lol. =)

If anything else, drink a bunch of water & lay down. See if that helps.
Best of luck! Hope you feel better!

the thing with pregnancy is pain comes from all over the body and pain isnt abnormal because of a baby stretching you in ways inside you never imagined possible. Like the previous person said, if there isnt blood I wouldnt worry at all. Your going to have some pains throughout the pregnancy with ligaments and such and all that. Your body can tell you better than anynoe else if you feel something is really wrong but getting checked out never hurt anyone.

You know what, that is what they get paid for. If it makes you feel better, call. Are you bleeding? I am 9wks 4dys, and I get them all the time. One minute it will be on my lower right side and then later it will be in the same place on the left side. Mine hasnt hurt right under the belly. Relax, if your not bleeding, then you are growing!

At this stage it could be anything, but I would keep a close eye on it, too much cramping is a bad sign.
