I honor every parents' right to informed consent and informed refusal on this very important issue. I acknowledge that in other countries they are starting to see circumcision as an infringement to the bodily intergrity and informed consent of the infant male involved. As the law stands in this United States, parents still retain the right to make this choice on behalf of their child. Here is information for your consideration on the topic of male circumcision. All articles are tastefully written, have valid facts from reputable stories and do NOT have inflammatory language!

i have 2 boys and neither of them are circumcised. personally i regret that we didn't have it done. i have found it difficult to keep them totally clean. my 4 yr old got an infection cause he wasn't pulling the skin back when he went to the bathroom. my dr just told me i had to start pulling skin back on my 18 month old to wash it daily.

Ill have to read these when I'm not on my phone. I am on the fence. I'm due with my second son March and strongly considering not circumsing him. My first was circumsized, but I didn't have any real reason to do it. I just thought it was the norm. DH is on board if I feel it's something I don't want to do which is nice. I need to continue to do more research.

This is just a short time in their lives. There are major health benefits and sexual benefits for them later in life to keeping this foreskin!

*hug* Congrats on your pregnancy! : ) I did the same with my first. We circumcised him at four months (we moved when he was eight days old and did not want him to have to sit in the car with a sore penis. And with the insurance change he was too old to do it without being put under, so we had to wait until he was big enough to be put under). Then, I did more research when I was pregnant with out second child. Very best wishes, either way you guys go on this topic! : )

My son is circusized and I DO NOT regret it. Any other future boys will be circumcised. It's healthier and better imo and it's best decision for our family.
