I started taking birth control this month. Some people told me if you take it while on your period it works immediately. But if you take it after your period you still have to use a condom for the first month. I tooked it after my period then i waited couple of days then had unprotected sex. Is there a good chance or even a possibility i could be pregnant?

As far as I know, whenever you start, it takes about a month at least to get regulated and on the system.     Taking it asap won't necessarily withhold ovulation.

No matter whether you start it on your period or not, you should use a back up method of birth control for the first month at least.

I'm not sure the chances of getting pregnant, and every body works a bit differently so you just never know. Good luck!
