Stress Test Questions

So who here has had to do a stress test before?

Has anyone passed the test and been allowed to continue with the pregnancy?

If you don't get favorable numbers -- do they induce you right then?  (As in, you don't even leave the hospital?)

Also, why did you have to get the test done?

I've had a stress test before. I had a baby who didn't pass, so I was sent for an ultrasound to review him. If I didn't pass the ultrasound, I would have been induced.

I had them done twice at least with my son.  I was having contractions at 6 months the test showed I was having contractions so they put me on Breathine then next month they did test again and I was contracting twice as much as before so they doubled my dose and i was fine.  I did both tests at the dr.'s office and went home that day

I got one done at 34 weeks with my daughter. She hadn't been moving enough so we had gone in for an NST to check her out. She passed, I was sent home. I'd been having so many BH that I wasn't feeling her move through them.

How are you doing? How are you feeling? I've been thinking about you. :)

She's past her due date and trying for a VBAC. It's pretty standard procedure.

Thanks for asking :)

I sent my doula a "i'm losing my shit" email today.  She's been great.

In short, I'm losing my shit.  All of the things that I *know* logically aren't impacting my emotions like they should.  I can't seem to get out of my head, if that makes sense.

It does make sense!

If you are indeed losing your shit, then labor could be soon. I lost my mind the morning I went into labor with my daughter. I was in hysterics for almost two hours, totally out of it and freaking out and hating life. lol

When do you have your NST?

I have had them done with both of my past babies and tey always passed and I was sent home. I had them done b/c my bp was up so the dr sent me just to make sure everything was ok.
