Pregnancy Pregnancy
My hubby made the suggestion that we find out what we are having but keep it a surprise from our family. Are we selfish? I know personally I'm gonna have a hard time keeping the secret.

We go the 18th for our next ultrasound

oh--   Well then THEY can get pregnant and learn the gender prenatally.      ;- /

 lol

Are you planning to have any ultrasounds?     If not then it's a non-issue...

Our families want us to find out...well all but my mom lol

I don't think it's selfish. :-) But I know I'd slip up and say he or she at some point to someone. Lol!

Not selfish at all! It's your baby not anyone else's. They can choose to do what they want with their pregnancies. No one has a right to be angry if you choose not to tell.

I wouldn't do it but I don't think it's selfish.

I think it's your guy's baby so you should reveal or not reveal however you wish. However, if you have your heart keeping it a surprise it might be a little difficult in my opinion, as if you buy anything that's not gender neutral people will know or if you slip up and say he or she instead. Either way wishing you lots of luck and hope the surprise works for you :)

Why would that be selfish? We never found out with ours and i didnt see it as selfish, its just what the parents prefer!
