I am going to see the doc for my first appt. in February, but I talked to a nurse today. She told me absolutely ZERO ab exercises. That's my favorite thing to do... Has anyone else been told this? I knew I wasn't supposed to lay on my back for prolonged periods of time, but she said this was different.
I hadn't heard that....interesting. Sounds like a myth to me, but who knows.
I didn't think it was a problem in early pregnancy.
I will say that my chiropractor told me today that he often sees "fit" women who get pregnant. Apparently, they have such great abs prior to pregnancy, the muscles keep working and stay tight when they need to relax.
Of course, I didn't have great abs to begin with and I'm still having tightness issues on one side :)
