If you have a regular period, could you still get pregnant a week before your period is due?

If you have a regular period and it's about a 31 day cycle, could you still get pregnant a week before your period is due?

probably not
If you have a normal 31 day cycle chances are you ovulate somewhere around cd14 - cd20
your luteal phase (the time from ovulation until your next period) has to be at least 10 days to get pregnant...if its shorter than that there isn't enough time for the egg to implant

BUT it is possible to get pregnant if you're having an off cycle....if you didn't ovulate until cd25...that would make your cycle longer that month..BUT if you got pregnant you wouldn't have anyway of knowing that...ya know?

its kinda confusing
