I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow, & we're still undecided about names....We've had our boys name picked out for 4 yrs already, (Christian Antony) so thats not the problem. It was coming up with the girls name since we dont know for fact what we're having. We have two kids right now, Kailynn Aniyah & Cameron Elijah. Their names are very similar so I want something different this go around. We started off with our girls name being Sincerity ________ but after a while we kind of got tired of it. Tonight we've finally agreed on Phoenix ________ if we have a girl. This is more than 90% likely to change but he's been shooting down everything so I'm satisfied at the moment. Middle name will be a combonation of our great grandmothers names Rose & Lois. These woman were a great part of our live & sadly had to leave this earth. SO's grandma Rose, passed a few yrs before I met him, in 2005 if Im not mistaken, and my grandma Lois, who raised me from birth, passed in April of 2011. If shes a girl, she'll end up with something hypenated, but Im trying to save her the trouble of having to learn how to spell 4 names....so I'll see if I can find a way to combine the 2 without being tacky. But Im rambling. We've gotten our names!! Hopefully!! In April 2013, I'll have:

Kailynn Aniyah
Cameron Elijah
&
Christian Antony    or    Phoenix ____________

I must say Im pretty thrilled :)

You can also save some for another baby later!

You could do 2 middle names. All 3 of my girls have 2 middle names, all family related.

That's nice and long doesn't bother me, but it can be a mouthful.    I think it's nicest when the rhythm of the syllables flows well.      But that could be anything!

One thing that catches me as more difficult is when the same sounds are together in 2 names.     Like if you went with that example (Phoenix Rhiannon) and your last name started with an N.
Those sounds would run together, kwim?

If i double it, I'd do Phoenix Rhiannon-Louise and yeah I get what you mean :)
Her last name would start with K though ;)
