So I am preparing my baby registry and I'm considering openign multiple registries for multiple reasons.  I am just ot sure if it comes accross rude including 3 registries with the baby shower.

One reason is that many of the items is less expensive in one store versus another, another reason is that some of the guests will be able to spring for the more expensive items from the "baby" stores while other people will not.... and lastly, I am registeriong with national stores as well as one more local store and plan on in inviting family that is living far and may or may not be able to make it so the national chains will suit them better...

I just dont want to come off as rude or presumptious sending the info for all 3 regristries.  Please advise me on how you feel getting an invite with the info for 3 regristries...

We are making multiple registries. We want to be conscious of everyone's budget. We have friends/family who do not mind dropping $500 on a gift, and others who are more comfortable in the $25 range. I don't think it's a big deal

I had two registies with my son. Some stores carry different things you want. I don't think it's rude at all.

I wouldn't be offended but I would think its strange that you couldnt find everything you needed in only 2 stores. I registered at two. But three just seems like overkill to me.

I had three registries for my shower; Target, Walmart & Babies R Us. Many of my guests prefered to shop at one store over another so it gives people options.

I dunno. I set up one with my first daughter but no one got me anything off of it. So there's no point at all for me to do it.

It's normal to register at atleast two places, and even three:)

I had 3 registries with my last pregnancy... I did it that way because we only have 1 store in my home town and that was easier for the older people who don't like to drive an hr away to shop at babiesrus or target.

For my first the registry was a waste of time and I don't need much, so won't be registering.

I think its good it gives them more of a varity to choose. Alot of my friends registered at 2 places. Also babiesrus you get like 10% off the items on your registrey if no one buys them and you go back and get them! I dont know about other places though(:
