Are you having any family members get the adult pertussis vaccine?

Yes. We talked to our immediate family members who will be around a lot. I realize I can't ask every single person to get the shot, but I feel more comfortable with some of them doing it. My SILs and BILs already had theirs due to having babies the last couple years. I personally know someone who is battling this with their infant and there is a girl in my DD group who could possibly lose her son from it as well.

Nope.

First off, none of our family lives around us. Even if they did, that is their choice. I would actually like to know when anyone gets a vaccine, and is going to be around my child. For two weeks after they inject themselves with poison, I'd like them to stay away from my child.

My MIL works with kids already so she has it and will most likely be the primary childcare watcher for our lil boy when he gets here. Im gonna have my hubby and I get it for sure but dont think I will ask family to do it, just going to be very selective on when people are around and are sick. My sis unfortunately has the immune system of a wet paper bag so she knows to let me know when she isnt feeling well.

We're not going to vaccinate our baby (I know. No thanks, I don't need an opinion about it) so it doesn't really make sense to tell everyone to go out and get whatever shot. But even so, I can't really make anyone do anything. It's their health and their choice.

No... Getting my baby vaccinated is enough IMO.
