Okay so I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I have been getting very sharp pains in my lower back and lower abdomen! They don't go away for about 45 seconds and its very painful, reoccurring. I called my doctor about 30 minutes ago, but he says everything is fine? I have found a little spotting. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

Are you contracting? When did you speak to your doctor? Is it still occurring? Any blood, or discharge/possible mucus plug?

That happened to me with ds. They told me it was because he was dropping. I would get real sharp pains, it felt like I was being stabbed. Especially in my vagina. I spotted as I lost my mucus plug. You're getting close!! Exciting!!

Can you time them? Sure they aren't contractions? If not, it could be baby dropping into your pelvis.
