16 weeks with the flu! What is safe to take to feel better?

baby #1 on the way! I am 16 weeks and coming down with the flu. what is safe to take? so far, the answer  i got through my internet research is- nothing!

help!

 Tylenol for the fever and body aches. Sudafed is ok, robitussin and alkaseltzer are all safe. My ob said I could take all of these. If you're having problems sleeping because of it he said you could also take Benadryl. Stay well hydrated to. The flu is a serious but kicker. I'm on the tail end of it after 6 days.

i had it right before i had nathan and all i did was keep hydrated.i didnt want to risk anything.no matter what anything says there is always a risk even if it is low.

To be blunt, this is a question for your doctor or a nurse that works there.  You might have special circumstances that would make your choices different.  Internet research isn't a good idea for this either.  Hope you feel better soon.
