First pregnancy

tomorrow is our first ultrasound im 7w5d tomorrow can i expect to hear the heartbeat. Should i be concerned if they cannot find it

I worried they well say its not a viable pregnancy

Nervous however after tomorrow i feel like ill have peace of mind so at least im thinking positive

You might be able to see it on te ultrasound. It can still be too early.

I saw and heard our current baby's heartbeat at 7 weeks 3 days this time. It's still very early though and every baby develops differently. Don't be scared if they can't find it.

If you have an internal ultrasound you will see and hear the heartbeat. If you don't, you will probably not be able to hear it with a doppler. I am almost certain you wont.

you can be certain that you will not hear it with a doppler... if you do an ultrasound you should be able to see it or hear it, but then again I know some woman who couldn't see or hear the heartbeat up until 9 weeks....every pregnancy and every baby is different

They should be able to find the heart beat. However, sometimes a heartbeat can't be found, but everything is still ok (and baby was just too small or in a bad position for it to be picked up). Good luck tomorow.

Do you have any reason to worry?
I don't hear the HB until nearer to the middle of my pregnancies so I know it can be a while--
