20 weeks pregnant with twins

im currently 20 weeks pregnant and i am having the worst heartburn of my LIFE!!! everything i eat causes the heartburn and sometimes i throw up the acids in my esophagus. What kind of antacids would you recommend that would help ???

Zantac was a life saver for me and its completely safe for the baby.

I took tums, drank lots of milk, slept elevated on a pillow, and Pepcid ac.

sleeping upright helps a lot. I had heartburn so bad with my last one. She came out with 6 inches of hair on top of her head and 6 inches of hair on the back of her head lol. I ate a lot of tums too.

 Pepcid!! I LOVE my Pepcid. I'm only 9wks, 2days... and I have to take it daily.

Sounds gross and I have not tried it, but I've heard taking a spoonful of yellow mustard or apple cider vinegar works like magic. Or chugging baking soda water. I have pretty bad HB but have not been desperate enough to try those yet ;)

The only thing that helps me is drinking light chocolate soy milk (just because I like it and I don't handle cow's milk well) and sleeping sitting up in my DH's recliner. Hopefully yours will get a little bit better after the baby drops and eases some of the pressure-- that helped mine a bit. GL!

SERIOUSLY!? i had no idea that was safe! I've been dying this time around and I have a whole bottle of those but was told tums or rolaids!

 I'm 24 wks pregnant with twins!! Congrats!! I take pepcid and it works miracles.
