Concerned and confused...

Ok, so my husband and i are TTC our first :) but im confused on exactly how to go about when to try. Ive been looking at best times and the normal answer is to try every other day during ovulation... well i have tracked my ovulation to be sometime next week. So does that mean just do it next week and only then, wait to see if i miss period and check to see if im preggo? Or just keep at it till i skip period? Im concerned because how will the doctors know when my due date is when my intimate schedule is all over the board?! Know what i mean? Im probably over thinking this but id really appreciate if anyone could answer with good insite, maybe your own story? :) thanks!

Your due date is based on the first day of your last period.

Don't make it a chore. If you stress your body is less likely to ovulate. Have you talked to a fertility specialist? You seem to have a lot of questions they would be able to clear up for you and cater to your specific needs.

Just have fun. Don't stress about when is the best time and not. Also the Dr/OB/Midwife goes by your last monthly period for estimated due date.

The more you stress the harder it is to get pregnant. Just make it fun and don't think about it

If you have an iPhone, you should try a free app called Pink Pad. You put in your cycle dates and it gives you an estimate on when you're ovulating. It's obviously not going to be exact, but it was fun for me to use that! You can also keep track of when you get frisky, so after you do get pregnant you may have a better idea of when, exactly, you conceived. I made it kind of like a game, and ended up getting pregnant after about a month of trying.

Good luck to you!

When you are intimate doesn't matter concerning your due date. Ovulation is when conception happens regardless of when you had sex. Like, my husband and I had sex up until June 3rd but then he left for Korea. I ovulated June 6th. That's when I got pregnant and that is what my due date is based off regardless if the fact that the last time we'd had sex was 3 days prior.
