Safe to get fake nails??

I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant, and want to get nails put on for an event. I am going to wear a mask while I get them done, but I'm wondering if it's still safe. Is there anything that they put on my nails that can be harmful if absorbed through the nail?

I just had this talk with my OB. It's safe as long as you aren't in the nail salon for hours on end.

Yes, it's fine.

I never do fake nails when I'm pregnant because my nails grow way too fast!

This. My baby is now 4 weeks old and I went to the salon every other week to get my nails done. Perfectly safe!

It is safe but if I were you I would just use press ons for the event then get rid of them.
