Question for Doulala, or anyone else who has experience with....

helping a baby to tuck its chin in utero. Im 40w1d and after seeing my doctor last night, found out that everything is looking GREAT for a TOLAC and successful VBAC! Except for one thing....the baby isnt putting the right part of his head towards my pelvis. He's anterior which is good, EVERYTHING looks good, except this! If he doesn't tuck his chin, it will make it super super hard for my TOLAC to turn into a successful VBAC. What can I do? Ive been rocking on my birthing ball, pelvic tilts, doing forward inversions every day to balance the pelvis, and walking. I dont know what else to do. Im so worried that Im THIS CLOSE to what I want and it wont happen because baby wont cooperate! :-( Anyone else have this problem?

Have you heard of sifting? Here is a link to a video. You might also try the Miles circuit.

You might try a chiropractor too. I don't know if it's too late though.

there's no way, here in Poland. The way the health care system works, it would take too long to get in. I should have signed up the moment I got a positive HPT. :-(

Do you think I could use a woven wrap, (huge) to do this with DH at home?

Baby will move during labor, I'm not sure I'd worry about it

I had this issue, and it led to shoulder dystocia. I tried everything to get her into the right position, to no avail.

I used the birthing ball, tried squatting, midwife tried sifting, I saw a chiropractor, had acupuncture, acupressure, and moxibustion... She just wouldn't budge.

I hope something works for you! Best wishes for a successful vbac. :)

I rocked on my hands and knees. Also my doctor had me lay on my side, with my top leg bent, knee to my chest. Also I was in labor during this, so I am not much help, but had a successful VBAC.
