We have an appt. next week and I will be right at 17 weeks... Is there any way they can tell the baby's gender and have it be accurate? With my daughter we found out after 20 weeks so they were sure.

I think it has to be at least 20? But I could be wrong. I am pretty sure all 3 of my boys were found to be boys at the 20 week ultrasound.

It might be easier later on to tell, and it probably depends on the skills of the tech.    I don't do any ultrasounds so no experience in my pregnancies, but I have heard of folks finding out around that gestation.

We found out at either 11 or 12 weeks. I think 12. We were going to a high risk doctor though, and having hour long appointments.

Thanks, ladies! We live in Germany (Army) and the doctor does ultrasounds at every appointment here so I know he is experienced and will know what to look for. I really hope we get to find out, I am sooo anxious! :)

Are you having health issues or concerns?    You can decline this offer if you want, to avoid unnecessary exposure.     An experienced provider can use other ways to monitor you, too.
GL!

I found out at 14.5. I think they'll be able to give you a strong guess!
